About
OBJECTIVE
CST4ALL aims to catalyze an array of hybridization and cooperation initiatives at the interface between Concentrated Solar Thermal (CST*) and other renewable energy technologies targeting the electricity, heat, and fuels sectors.
* CST is an umbrella term that includes electricity, heat, and fuel applications while Concentrated Solar Power (CSP) / Solar Thermal Electricity (STE) narrowly refers to the use of CST to generate electricity.
METHODOLOGY
CST4ALL will execute a series of workshops to identify the key technological interfaces between CST technologies and other renewable energy technologies.
KEY OUTCOMES
◆ Increased awareness of and support for CST technologies from key stakeholders and the general public.
◆Strengthened capacities and willingness of key actors from different SET Plan sectors to implement cross-cutting, integrated, and holistic solutions to shared challenges.
KEY IMPACTS
Accelerate the clean energy transition and realization of the Green Deal through European technological and social leadership in cross-cutting solutions that have high economic, technical, environmental, and social performance.

Cowboys & Cowgirls!

CST4ALL celebrated its 1 year birthday with a cowboy & cowgirl-themed General Assembly meeting at Plataforma Solar de Almería, Spain. The meeting was organized by the project coordinator DLR, hosted by CIEMAT, and included participants representing ESTELA (BE), ENEA (IT), and ODTU-GUNAM (TR).

CST4ALL turned 1 year old on 01 Oct. 2023! To celebrate this milestone, we are releasing CST4ALL’s 1st Newsletter. As elaborated in the newsletter, to start CST4ALL’s 2nd year we are launching a series of research and industry-focused workshops to catalyze inter-sectoral collaboration targeting solutions to common challenges and to identify, strengthen, and exploit hybridization opportunities with a specific aim to catalyze interdisciplinary consortia for follow-up proposals.
